ULVERSTON QUILT SHOW - SUMMER 1999
Here are photographs of quilts that I had on display at the Ulverston Quilt Show
40 Years On Donated heagons hand stitched in 1957 have been used in this group quilt. Inspiration for its design came from an Irish quilt dating from 1790. Hand pieced and machine quilted. |
Friends Abroad This was made by my pen friend Gila. The idea was helped by blocks I had sent her earlier. A lovely keepsake to be cherished always. Thank you my friend. |
Sunshine and Flowers This has been an ongoing quilt for 9 years. Over the past 2 years my daughter in-law Sandra, has helped me to finally finish it. It is to be raffled at the Sacred Heart Church, Barrow-In-Furness in aid of refugees and the developing world. |
