We have one priest spread between Skerton and Halton, this gives us the following mass times:-

Joseph's Sunday Mass: Vigil Mass Saturday 6.30 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. Divine Mercy: Fridays 2.45 pm. to 3.15 pm. Holydays: 12.15pm and 7.00pm Weekdays: Mass 10 a.m. Saturday 12.15 p.m. Holy Hour: first Sunday of the Month 4 to 5 p.m. Confessions: Saturday 11.45 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. and 5.30 to 6.30 p.m.. Baptisms: By arrangement (after preparation). |

6.30pm Mass at St Joseph's (Saturday)
This is the vigil service, intended to fulfil a desire to attend Sunday mass for those who may be working etc on Sunday morning. This is a simpler mass than 10.30.
This is the main mass of the parish and therefore consists of various 'embellishments'

Children's Liturgy Group EXCEPT for every first Sunday when a family mass takes place instead
The 10.30 mass at St Joseph's is
usually followed by refreshments (occasionally with sale
of homemade cakes) and Traidcraft, come along and see!

Divine Mercy - Fridays at 2.45 p.m.
The devotions to the Divine Mercy, as recently recommended by his Holiness the Pope, will be prayed every Friday in St. Joseph's; the prayers take approximately 30 minutes
